“La Tina” es un libro que recopila los portafolios y proyectos de 175 diseñadoras latinoamericanas quienes se reúnen por primera vez en una publicación impresa que celebra el diseño en todas sus formas y colores. Dentro de sus páginas se expone el trabajo de talentosas diseñadoras gráficas que han contribuido significativamente en el desarrollo de la industria del diseño en la región.
“El proceso de la publicación de La Tina llevó más de dos años en los que se buscaron y documentaron muchísimos portafolios creados por diseñadoras en Latinoamérica. De una lista de 500 diseñadoras gráficas de más de 20 países, se pasó por un proceso de curaduría y quedaron publicados los portafolios más representativos. Este es un libro que reúne una muestra de lo mejor del diseño en la región”, sostuvo Alfredo Enciso, fundador de Pupila, el estudio creativo costarricense que lideró el proyecto y artífice de grandes eventos como la Semana del Diseño Costa Rica.
“La Tina” expone el trabajo de reconocidas diseñadoras peruanas como Verónica Majluf, Andrea Gálvez, Patricia Exebio, Lua Cieza, Mónica Reyes, entre otras. Ellas exponen su talento junto a las brasileras Flavia Nalon y Lais Ikoma, la ecuatoriana Vanessa Zúñiga, la puertorriqueña Claudia Rubín, la argentina Valeria Moreiro, la chilena Andrea Cuchacovich, y muchas más. Asimismo, el prólogo del libro fue escrito por Marina Willer, considerada como una de las diseñadoras gráficas más importantes del mundo, socia de la prestigiosa firma de diseño Pentagram.
Presentación y conversatorio
En el Perú, el evento será organizado por la escuela de arte, diseño y creatividad, Corriente Alterna y la Asociación de Empresas de Diseño del Perú (ADÑ) y se realizará el viernes 30 de junio a las 6:30 p.m. en las instalaciones del primer campus multidisciplinario del país, ubicado en Av. Paseo de la República 2557.
Durante la actividad se llevará a cabo un conversatorio en el que participarán las diseñadoras peruanas destacadas en el libro como Daniela Nicholson, directora creativa de Sed Estudio, Andrea Fálvez, comunicadora visual de Fibra Estudio Gráfico, Verónica Majluf, partner de VM& y Paloma Nieri, fundadora de Paloma Nieri Studio.
“Este evento es abierto al público. Los asistentes podrán conocer de cerca a las diseñadoras y hacer preguntas sobre sus trayectorias. Adicionalmente, podrán participar de la presentación del libro y recorrer una muestra inspirada en La Tina que estará disponible en nuestras instalaciones”, sostuvo Carla Bedoya, directora general de Corriente Alterna.
Por su parte, la presidenta de ADÑ, Claudia Hidalgo, resaltó que Pupila también realizará el lanzamiento en Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala y Bolivia. “Hace unos días, se inició la gira de lanzamiento en España en donde recibió una gran acogida y culminará en BiCebé, una de las bienales de carteles más importantes del mundo, que se celebrará en Bolivia en noviembre de este año”, finalizó Hidalgo.
